About Kianna Simpson

Hello! My name is Kianna but I also go by Kiki. I am a student at the University of Waterloo, planning to major in Speech Communications and minor in Economics. For my future career I plan to open and run my own personal business. I hope to become an financial analysis towards minority students to help them understand the importance of saving their money. As well as understanding their spending habits and expenses as they grow older. My past experience, I have worked at the Bank of Montreal in 2020 for a co-op position. Unfortunately, I only worked there for two month because we went into lockdown. However, the time that I did work there I learned a lot from my supervisors and colleagues. I was able to improve on my time management and detail oriented skills. As I continue to grow my network and build professional experience, I work with the University of Waterloo Convocation for the graduates of 2020 - 2022. With this work experience I gained customer service skills and improved on my adaptability skills. I worked multiple different positions such as Usher, Accessibility assistant and robing assistant. I will continue to work the ceremonies and develop my skills further until I graduate. My personal interests are going on walks, drawing, spending time friends and family, exploring and watching anime.
