About Kiara Procter

We are currently developing The School of Curious Minds, a proposed free public charter school in Stockbridge, Georgia, serving students in grades 4 - 8. SOCM is designed to transform learning by placing students at the center through real-world application, student voice, and strong community partnerships. Our model blurs the lines between school and community by building meaningful partnerships that expand student access, create authentic learning experiences, and support student success in and beyond the classroom. I am an equity-driven educator, school founder, and community advocate with over 13 years of experience in teaching, leadership, and school design. My passion lies in building learning environments where students are empowered to lead, think critically, and apply their learning to real-world challenges. We are passionate about working alongside families, partners, and advocates who believe in the power of purpose-driven, student-centered education. I welcome connections with those ready to reimagine what school can be and am committed to making that vision a reality for our community.
