About Kicki Lindstrand

Frontend developer in the making - looking to extend my network and find new exciting opportunities. I'm starting to feel comfortable in React, Sass and JavaScript. I've also worked quite a bit with node.js, aws/serverless-webpack (dynamo-db/apiGateway/lambda/S3) and I have experience with Typescript, Redux/Zustand, axios, tanstack query, framer motion and of course a lot more. Lately I've been exploring Imba, Vue and PrimeVue. I'm dedicated, a quick learner and have good communication skills. I am used to organizing, leading and collaborating both from my studies and from my earlier career as a preschool teacher with extended responsibilities (e.g. giving lectures, mentoring and introducing new colleagues in the municipality, team leader etc.). I have a high work ethic, I am disciplined and I am effective. I'm studying frontend development at Folkuniversitetet (vocational university) between August 2022 and June 2024. I'm also working part time as a teaching assistent at the IT-courses in Sundsgårdens folkhögskola where the students learn frontend development (HTML, CSS, JS and React). I completed the course myself in June 2022. I have three children, one husband and a dog, so most of my spare time is spent with the family. I enjoy a good book, to solve jigsaw puzzels or take a walk in the forest. Or - why not - dig myself into a new coding project!
