About Kid Jansen

Kid is a 24x certified Salesforce technical architect with 15 years experience in CRM and 10y implementing Salesforce for organizations across many different industries. He’s the Salesforce CTO for the Netherlands and Chief Salesforce Architect at Capgemini. When he passed the Capgemini Chief Architect certification in August 2022, he became the first Chief Architect for Salesforce within Capgemini globally. He has worked in all phases of the Software Development life cycle – from requirement gathering & business analysis to end-user-trainings and release management – and has done so in various roles, doing consultancy, hands-on implementation in both point & click and code, solution design and system architecture. Kid is assertive and does not shy away from asking the difficult question in meetings. This leads to a healthy discussion which results in clarity and alignment. He specializes in getting struggling implementation projects back on track, challenging the status quo with a bold but pragmatic approach, leveraging change management to balance the business process efficiency and effectiveness with the technical implementation quality. This to ensure healthy implementations that provide strong business value in a future proof way. Outside of work Kid is also very active in both the Salesforce community and the Capgemini architect community, having presented on multiple Salesforce events and community group meetups. He has recorded a video course for Pluralsight and runs two architecture communities of practice. For fun Kid likes to work out, previously weightlifting and rugby, nowadays rowing. Aside from playing himself Kid has also given rugby training in the past for a broad range of groups of every age. Other than that, he loves photography and cooking for friends and family, hobbies of his he brings the same level of meticulousness to as he does with his work.
