About Kieffer Thomas

I’m a lifelong learner who thrives on tackling novel challenges and uncovering creative, data-driven solutions. Currently working at the intersection of AI and digital marketing, I’ve built a career transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that drive business growth.I leverage a range of data science tools and machine learning techniques-Python, SQL, NLP (LLMs and BERT mostly)), and dashboarding with AWS-to optimize large-scale digital advertising systems and automate decision-making. My work often bridges strategy and execution: designing algorithms and scripts that dynamically generate millions of keywords, streamline campaign management, and uncover performance drivers across diverse industries.I hold a Master’s in Information and Data Science from UC Berkeley, where I deepened my expertise in analytics, statistical modeling, and applied machine learning. My learnings culminated in a capstone project that explored the relationship between California's groundwater measurements, data from NASA's GRACE system for estimating terrestrial water storage, and satellite imagery of previous winter's Sierra Mountain snowpack to meaningfully improve the prediction in future groundwater levels across California. At the core, I’m driven by curiosity, a passion for continuous learning, and a commitment to building intelligent systems that deliver measurable results.
