About Kieran Biles

My name is Kieran Biles and I am a Primary School Teacher. I want to continue to use my own passion for education to foster a love of learning in every child that I teach. I, therefore, understand the importance of reflecting on my own practice and keeping up to date with relevant curriculum developments and initiatives. This will help to improve my professional knowledge and skills and deliver best practices in the classroom. The main quality I have to offer is that I am an extremely passionate teacher and take pleasure in creating exciting lessons that are enjoyable, motivating and a challenge for learners. I always aim to promote a positive, happy learning environment, which is inclusive, making each and every child feel valued and special. I am sensitive to their many needs and I aim to support, encourage and nurture my pupils, allowing each child to develop holistically. I possess excellent classroom and behaviour management skills, which help me to deliver successful lessons for children to progress. I have high expectations of the children that I teach and I am confident in how best to guide and support them so that they can achieve their full potential. I am able to form and uphold excellent relationships with others. I am a friendly, compassionate and approachable person, I always communicate professionally and I am supportive of my colleagues. I understand the need to work collaboratively with parents also, in order to maximise each child’s academic and personal success. I am energetic and enthusiastic and committed to working hard in order to rise to the challenges and demands of the job. Since starting my career I have proven that I am reliable, adaptable and quick to learn new things. I have a passion for the sciences and aspire to pass my enthusiasm for the subject to every pupil I teach.
