About Kieran Garvan

Kieran is currently an Audit Associate at KPMG Ireland. Primarily, Kieran works on IFRS and FRS102 audit engagements for MNC companies in the healthcare, technology and fintech sectors. Working with teams globally, across Ireland and Europe including engaging with senior stakeholders on a regular basis. Educated with a B. Comm (Intl) at University College Cork, Kieran went on to complete his chartered accountant (ACA) qualification with Chartered Accountants Ireland. While working at KPMG Ireland, Kieran gained exposure to internal controls and financial reporting from which he quickly developed an interest in risk and compliance. Pursuant to this interest and desire to support audit clients further, Kieran went on to complete a Higher Dipolma in Regulatory Risk & Compliance with TU Dublin / Professional Accountancy Ireland (PAT). Separately, Kieran participates in student mentoring programs with Business in the Community Ireland where he helps mentees develop professional skills for the working world. Additionally, Kieran has completed a course in teaching English as a foreign language and provides private lessons in French for leaving certificate students.
