Developing Commercial Insurance Broker currently working as an Account Manager, supporting Account Executives & Directors across various lines of commercial (and some financial) insurances. Obtained my CERT CII, working towards my DIP CII. Proficient in Microsoft suite and the Acturis system, with a strong focus on customer service & relationship building via networking, meetings, and insurance led events i.e. Broker Expo & BNI. In my previous employment, I engaged in marketing/advertising functions outside the normal account handling/managing role by developing promotional materials and in-depth blogs focused on more complex policies (asbestos, demolition, groundworks) and the hardening market (COVID-Business Interruption-Employers Liability) to demonstrate my passion for the General Insurance sector. Currently managing my own book of clients jointly across the SME and AV departments - servicing policies, placing new business, attending meetings/events, and prospecting.
