About Kierra Young

I have over 7 years of experience working in a higher education setting within student affairs, program development, event leadership and career development Whether it’s through leading Welcome Week for incoming students, facilitating career development workshops, or supporting a learner through a difficult job search, I’m committed to creating opportunities for students that foster safety, personal growth, engagement and a sense of belonging. I’m a strong communicator and relationship builder, collaborating regularly with instructors, employers, student groups, and my fellow staff to deliver effective programs and initiatives. As a lifelong learner, I actively seek opportunities to grow my skillset and knowledge both in and out of my work.
