I am a procurement professional, with 8+ years’ experience of procurement in the mining, construction, civil engineering industries. I have been involved in various construction projects like highways, airport, hospitals, schools, laboratories, civic centers, waste management systems and more. My daily tasks include but are not limited to; Creating/ approving new requisitions, market research, communicating with stakeholders/ management, issuing RFQ’s, quotation comparison analysis and evaluation (TCO), warehouse and logistics preparations, issuing PO’s, contract performance reviews (KPI/ SRM), following up on pending PO’s, issuing weekly/ monthly reports, attending meetings with staff/ suppliers, rookie training. Experience and knowledge of working on OPEX/ CAPEX based procurement, working at office/ on-site/ remote location and worked from various countries. My strong points are striving in fast paced environments, punctual, paying attention to detail, highly trustworthy and ethical, well organized, good communication skills, problem solving, efficient multitasking, great negotiation skills, committed to customer service excellence and a team player.
