About Kiev Ly

I am an innovative, high-energy, chemist with extensive experience in drug discovery that target a variety of therapeutic areas. I was a key member of multidisciplinary teams that consisted of medicinal chemists, biologists, pharmacologists, scale-up chemists, and computational chemists. My contributions led to compounds that advanced as pre-clinical and clinical candidates. My primary responsibilities as a chemist were to synthesize, purify (normal and reverse phase HPLC), and characterize (NMR, LCMS, HPLC) novel compounds as well as scale up advance intermediates that could be share with other members of the project team to quickly explore the structure activity relationship of scaffolds. I assisted in the preparation of patent applications and papers by providing protocols and data of synthesized compounds then review drafts for scientific integrity as part of my responsibilities to the project and company.
