About Kiley Gross
I am passionate about using my mechatronics and controls knowledge to boost workflow and improve people's lives by solving complex software/hardware problems. One of my biggest accomplishments to date is interfacing a Speedgoat target machine with Sarcos robots to rapidly prototype controllers directly with SIMULINK Real-Time, which saved the company around 4 months of development time. I graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in May of 2020 with a 3.94 GPA. I have an emphasis in mechatronics, but also took coursework in computer science to strengthen my knowledge base and skills. I always try to be the hardest worker in the room! When deadlines are close, I can always be counted on to put in the extra effort to get a project across the finish line. I enjoy researching topics in software, mechatronics, and controls engineering to find alternate and better ways to solve problems, and to make me a more efficient engineer.
