About Kiley Sitter

I am currently a Secretary at a highschool in Salmon Arm. I perform reception duties, have working knowledge in databases such as MyEd and CIMS. This job requires me to multi-task in a very busy environment. I have extensive, up-to-date training in all aspects of office technology and procedures. Computer software training includes Windows, Internet browsers, Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, Team,), and Sage (Simply) Accounting. In addition to computer programs, I am competent with manual accounting, petty cash, payroll, and business communications. My office procedures skills include records management, meetings, planning conferences, travel, postal duties, research, customer service, front office reception, telephone services, reprographics, shipping and form design. My previous clerical position was Custodial Administrative Assistant which allowed me to extend my skills to dispatching, scheduling, supply orders and problem solving. In one of my previous roles with the school district as an Education Assistant, I gained skills involving: de-escalation, crisis prevention and intervention, systematic alternative learning and teaching emotional regulation skills to students with diverse needs and abilities. I have also worked alongside Ministry of Children and Family Development Staff in a Behaviour Intervention Capacity. I communicated effectively and empathetically with families, striving to meet their goals while collaborating with MCFD to ensure I was meeting their standards and procedures.
