I’m a dedicated and result oriented business developer utilizing my +17 years of leadership experience within B2B marketing, digital transformation and people management to take organizations and teams to the next level. During my career I have established a marketing department from scratch, rebranded a company across Europe, digitalized customer journeys, launched web sites and customer portals, arranged +50 fairs or events, managed 3 Mio € projects and implemented various off & online marketing activities and materials. All the time with commercial and operational responsibility as well as people management. My way of working is striving for impactful and realistic implementation via a holistic, pragmatic, analytical and cooperative approach – always with simplicity as my guiding star. In terms of leadership style my philosophy is that motivation, wellbeing, and results comes from trust, responsibility, empowerment, and involvement - considering people are different with different needs. My main mantras are- Always do an implementation sanity check before finalizing a strategy or plan and committing budget. Nothing worse than a theoretically perfect strategy that never will fly- Less is more – keep things simple - Agile is not only a practice for software development – it also applies to strategy, project management, marketing planning, etc- Be customer centric in everything you do - Treat others as you would like to be treated – respect is key!
