My goal is to empower families during times of vulnerability, ensuring that each child’s voice is heard, their needs are met, and their emotional well-being is nurtured.With over 35 years of experience as a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in augmentative communication and assistive technology, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals overcome barriers to communication, play, and independence. My deep-rooted belief that everyone has a story to tell and a voice that deserves to be heard has driven my work as a Speech-Language Pathologist, and it continues to inspire my transition into Child Life. I bring a collaborative approach, having worked extensively with interdisciplinary teams to create tailored solutions that honor the unique abilities and challenges of each client. My passion for family-centered care and finding innovative solutions are assets as a Child Life Specialist.
