About Kim Baxter

Kim Baxter is a business professional with over 25 years of experience in telecommunications, information technology, and education. She has played key roles in project management, business analysis, marketing product management, customer care, training, strategic initiatives and leadership. Recently, Kim was appointed as Director Membership for PMI Manitoba. Kim holds the designations of Certified Toastmaster (CTM) and Advanced Leader (AL). Kim is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and has completed the project management certificate program. She completed the business analyst certification program, certificate in management (CIM) program, management development certificate and business administration certificates in human resource management and marketing. Kim recognizes the value of continually updating her skills, knowledge and abilities to drive results on her projects. Kim shares her project management, leadership and business analysis knowledge with her students in the project management program in the Professional Applied and Continuing Education (PACE) division at the University of Winnipeg. Kim owns a business consulting and art glass company, Fused Concepts. Kim is a talented leader with excellent team building skills, change management, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, technical knowledge and organizational skills.
