About Kim Bond

I'm Dr Kim Bond, a strategic and values-driven leader focused on advocacy, evidence, and lasting impact. At NAPAC – the National Association for People Abused in Childhood – I lead on development, ensuring the organisation has the relationships, resources, and insight to sustain and grow its vital work. My role brings together strategic fundraising, survivor-informed advocacy, and social impact analysis – translating complex realities into compelling cases for change. I hold a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA), and my research – Survivors as Stakeholders: A Longitudinal Study of Self-identified Positive Outcomes of Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse, and their Proactive Engagement with Support and Civil Law – explored how survivors define wellbeing, justice, and meaningful progress on their own terms. I also hold a Master's by Research in Optimising Social Impact Analysis, with a professional focus on ethical data use and survivor-led evaluation. My approach is trauma-informed, relational, rigorous, and pragmatic. I work across sectors to develop systems and strategies that honour survivor voice and deliver real-world impact. Lived experience informs my work, but it doesn’t define my focus: I work for all survivors, including those who remain anonymous, undisclosed, and uncounted in official systems. I believe in survivor-led insight, values-driven strategy, and advocacy that moves systems forward – towards systems that truly see, serve, and support survivors.
