About Kim Busch

An award winning Architectural designer, Kim Busch’s success can be attributed to her 10 year background in Graphic Design and Branding prior to her transition to Architecture. Her business acumen made her an asset to diverse projects while at Gensler, Abel Design Group, Jackson and Ryan, and IBI Group. She received immense experience working in the Community Studio at Gensler, where she achieved two Houston AIA Awards for projects and another working for Jackson Ryan Transcend Architecture which is a nonprofit company J&R consult with She has worked on multiple project types including experience in Schools (K-12), Higher Education, Library's, Mixed-Use, Student Housing, museums, Core and Shell, and Hospitality; with strong Revit skills as well as the Adobe Suite program. She also geeks out on Excel. With all the project types listed and 15 years of Project Management experience managing multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are on schedule and budget, she has pride on achieving it. Kim received a duel Bachelor’s Degree Architecture & Environmental Design from University of Houston, graduating second in her class. Kim believes in being a ‘trusted advisor’ to all her clients and focusing on their needs. Also, she believes the commitment to be flexible enough to adapt to the need of the clients goals. She strives for design excellence and leadership and an enduring commitment to her clients, including building trust and providing the best service possible. As a natural optimist, natural teacher, and she embraces challenges and problems because she knows through research, focus, and teamwork, solutions are found. By finding a solution it allows for the achievement of a common goal for the team and client.
