About Kim Carson

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in athletes, creatives, children, adolescents, and adults. I frequently work with clients experiencing issues related to addiction, unresolved trauma and grief, life changes during adolescence, life transitioning from college to career, issues with attachment, parenting issues, sibling relationships, and divorce family transitioning. Topical issues may include low self-esteem, ADHD, addiction, unresolved trauma and grief, relationship with Self, peer relationships, anger management, self-mutilation, eating disorders, and self-empowerment. A fundamental element in my approach is establishing the therapeutic relationship through rapport and building trust between the client and the therapist. I have a youthful energy that allows clients to feel at ease and comfortable. Through my professional experiences as a LPC-S, working in schools, and as a parent, I understand the struggles and complexities of children, parents, athletes, individuals struggling with addiction and their loved ones, and individuals transitioning from an old identity into a more authentic, congruent, and integrated Self. I am dedicated to empowering clients to becoming their best Self.
