About Kim Devry Klipstein

Kim deVry Klipstein is a senior leader with Tower Consultants Search Group, a retained executive search firm exclusive to Human Resources. With 13+ years in retained HR search, Kim is passionate about strategic search partnership. She is deeply valued for her relationship strengths, critical thinking, analytical and assessment skills, and record of achieving outstanding outcomes for and with clients. As Director, Kim supports the firm as a strategic contributor, search consultant, client/search point, and business developer. Kim began her career with TV Guide Magazine before choosing retained executive search with Tower Consultants, Ltd. She practiced in all disciplines of HR with a specialty in organization/leadership development. A driven, influential, and collaborative member of the Tower team, she progressed from Recruiter to Client Search Manager to Director/executive team member. For greater flexibility and less travel, Kim shifted to contractor with Tower, and for two years, also recruited and managed national travel nurses with MedStaff/Cross Country Healthcare. In 2008, she traded recruitment for an offer and new challenge in non-profit with the YMCA of Greater Brandywine (8-branch; actives). After two branch roles, she moved to the Association Office as its first Director of the Member Engagement Center. There, she teamed with IT and branch executive leaders to develop, launch and personally direct the Association's first In/Outbound member call center for eight branch Desks. Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Dickinson College. She enjoys basketball, cycling, coffee, words, and cities, and bonding with her daughter. She recharges with humor and her favorite comedians.
