About Kim Dismukes

I worked with the lead attorney training more than fifty attorneys who would be assisting our office with representation throughout the State of Texas opposing cases. I was responsible for assembling all pertinent materials and having everything available for the training. I answered questions along with attorney. Later, I was responsible for coordinating cases and ordering paperwork for the attorneys handling the cases for our office. I have also been called upon to speak at County and District Clerk's Association meetings. My work includes evaluating, coordinating and managing the work flow in a mid size government legal office with thirteen support staff supporting three attorneys. Supervising support staff for fourteen years. This involved the training of and support of the staff as required using independent judgment. I have had the responsibility of monitoring appeal cases and handling appeal cases from Motion for New Trial/Request for Findings of Fact to Notice of Appeal and beginning to review of appellate briefs. Work focuses in criminal and civil law. Total years of service at this agency is twenty-five years with primary focus in early years in Crime Records, research, data entry, fingerprint classification and search, fingerprint comparison for first four and one half years. The remaining years have been in the Crime Records Legal Office.
