About Kim Dyball

Kim is a Kalkadoon woman and has 30 years of experience working in the field of Indigenous education, training and employment across the State, Federal and the NFP sector, including seven years as a primary school teacher in both urban and remote settings. For the last 20 years, Kim has held various executive and management positions for a range of Federal Government departments and agencies, including most recently with CSIRO and the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. Kim has led the development and implementation of various programs, projects and policies, using a risk management approach. Kim has strong, productive community and stakeholder engagement skills and a proven track record of delivering results in complex environments. Kim is experienced in building and leading high-performing geographically dispersed teams, including during periods of change. As such, she is well regarded for her leadership skills, as she effectively inspires, guides and supports teams to deliver quality outcomes and achieve organisational goals. Along with teaching qualifications, Kim holds a Master of Educational Leadership and a Graduate Certificate in Educational Research and is honoured to be the Manager of the Young Indigenous Women's STEM Academy at the CSIRO.
