About Kim Ghaney

Kimberly is a healthcare leader with 20+ years of experience in NL Health Services and other health organizations. She is passionate about patient-centered care, innovation, access to primary care and collaboration. She has skills in strategy, leadership, clinical efficiency, program management, change management, team building and virtual care. She currently holds the role of Strategic Health Network Director for Primary Health Care in the Provincial Health Transformation portfolio. She led the Remote Patient Monitoring program to improved patient outcomes including improved access, reduction in ED and acute care visits, retained a +90% patient satisfaction rate, and shared these results and learnings at eHealth conferences as a commitment to knowledge translation. She has been recognized for her team leadership and commitment to innovation in improving healthcare. She is also a committed community volunteer and a parent representative at Queen Elizabeth High School council and former board member of Candlelighters NL. She served as municipal councillor in the Town of Holyrood and as school council chair in Holy Cross and Roncalli. She was also a board member and vice-chair of Lung Association Newfoundland Labrador.
