About Kim Ginn

Kim Ginn is the Chief Program Officer at 4C for Children, a non-profit child care resource and referral agency serving 15 counties in Southwest Ohio and the Miami Valley region. Kim’s role includes focusing on the success, inter-connection and consistency of the programs that 4C delivers including assisting families in securing child care and other needed resources, delivering professional development services for child care providers, and recruiting foster families and providing them with needed supports. Prior to joining 4C in 2004, Kim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University and then spent 10 years in the early childhood field as a teacher and administrator. During that time, she led a team of 25 teaching staff in achieving accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). She has served on the Board of the Cincinnati Association for the Education of Young Children (Cincinnati AEYC now known as SWOAEYC) and was a member of the Ohio Professional Development Network. Kim has presented at NAEYC’s Professional Learning Institute and at the Ohio Early Childhood Conference. She was also a member of Ohio’s Core Knowledge and Competencies Instructor Guide Writing Team. Kim currently serves on the Board of Cincinnati Promise Forward and is a member of the Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Association Professional Development Strategic Leadership Team and the Preschool Workforce Development Council in Cincinnati. In addition to her passion for helping others recognize the importance of early childhood development, Kim enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Scott, and two daughters, Alyssa and Zoe.
