About Kim Harvey

What started as a hobby has become my lifelong purpose. I began teaching Group Fitness while studying and quickly saw the powerful connection between music, movement, and community, and the incredible impact it had on both physical and mental health. That realisation led me outside the gym, where I developed a hands-on program to help kids and families build healthy habits at home. With support from Sport Auckland, we trialed the program and its success sparked something bigger: a drive to scale this work and reach more families. That’s when I launched Azion Corporate Wellness, introducing workplace wellbeing to New Zealand and Australia back when most people were still asking, “Workplace what?” I designed tech-powered, engaging health programs that caught the attention of Medibank, Bupa who used them with their corporate clients. The NSW Ministry of Health noticed the Virtual Adventure program and asked me to adapt it for schools, which was then evaluated and validated by the University of Sydney. Building on that momentum, I founded the Young and Healthy Trust, focused on helping kids understand the power of their incredible brain and body, using the Virtual Adventure as a fun, immersive way to build lifelong healthy habits. With support from purpose-driven partners like Zespri International, AIA NZ, and ASICS, over children across New Zealand have now taken part. From classrooms to boardrooms, I’m driven by one purpose: to help people feel good, live well, and realise their full potential—at any age, in any space.
