I am responsible for creating, maintaining, and analyzing material master data in Marathon’s inventory management systems. I collaborate with stakeholders on requests for new records, updates to existing records, approval workflow questions, and process troubleshooting. I work closely with Supply Chain business partners to ensure the successful execution of transactional activities utilizing material master records, while providing input and support to continuous improvement projects targeting material master data and perform periodic data quality reviews covering all aspects of the material master record.I was previously solely responsible for providing final document management of new and modified equipment, electrical, and instrument vendor documents and managed information for all equipment status changes. I created equipment and functional location records in SAP and maintained equipment data in Meridium. I worked closely with area engineers, project engineers, and reliability engineers to maintain the integrity of our documents. I sought out and eliminated non-value-added work while providing and maintaining information integrity. I set high work standards for myself and sought out opportunities to grow and learn.
