I have worked in an accounting position since 1985 starting with inputting income tax data, payroll and bookkeeping at various Practionioner's. In 1993 I started work @ Illinois Quad City Civic Center f/k/a The MARK of the Quad Cities, currently d/b/a TaxSlayer Center as the Accounting Clerk. Was promoted up to my current position of Senior Accounting Manager. In my current position, I oversee all aspects of accounting - A/P, A/R, G/L, and P/R, maintaining policies and procedures as well as produce our monthly financial statements. Being a Governmental entity, we are audited annually of which I oversee internally and work closely with our auditors. Assisting in budget preparation and monthly reports/analysis and estimations, I also am part of HR and review payroll of comprised of 500+ part time employees and 20 full-time. I have a vast knowledge of various accounting/HR software's as well time & attendance systems. I have set up accounting software and trained clients/employees.
