About Kim Pedersen

I bring 21 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specialising in data management, biostatistics, and programming. My career spans the full clinical development chain — from protocol design and data collection to delivering high-quality submissions to regulatory authorities such as FDA and PMDA. I have led both clinical development projects and large-scale IT transformations, including acting as project manager for Novo Nordisk’s CDISC implementation project, which involved 60+ colleagues and fundamentally changed how we manage clinical data across the company. I thrive at the intersection of science, data, and technology. With a life-long passion for programming (12 languages, including SAS, R, and Python), I continuously look for ways to improve processes and accelerate delivery. Recently, I’ve been driving automation solutions for statistical deliverables, such as auto-generating Analysis Data Reviewer’s Guides (ADRGs). What motivates me most is building high-performing, cross-functional teams that deliver efficiently and on time — something I have been consistently recognized for. Whether mentoring new data management units in India, driving global programming strategies, or advising as part of the Clinical Data Scientist Strategic Advisory Team, I bring leadership, structure, and innovation to every challenge.
