About Kim Perault

I was most recently a Special Education Teacher at Malden Public Schools, where I provided individualized and inclusive instruction for students with diverse learning needs. I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Wheelock College. My core competencies include diversity, organization, and communication skills, and I am interested in applying these skills to a new role. Before my time as a teacher in Malden, I was a Lead Teacher at Garden Nursery School, where I planned and delivered daily lessons for two classrooms of 17 children ages 3-6 in all areas. I developed and implemented lessons regarding intentional dialogue as a classroom norm, with a specific focus on problem-solving with peers and using clear language to describe emotional experiences. I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families, and to bring my diverse perspectives and experiences to a team.
