About Kim Stacy

I have been a Special Education Teacher / IEP Case Manager all my life. I love for working with high risk youths and youth experiencing disabilities; this has been my drive to continue trying to make a difference by providing services through out different venues. After obtaining my Masters in Special Education at NCSU, I dove into Early Intervention in Johnston County, NC. As Director of their Early Intervention program I oversaw the Birth to 5 Consortium, collaborated with other county providers and hospitals that served children in the area. I confirmed my belief that the most important thing we can do for our youth is to be as proactive as possible to assist them with being successful in life. Since then I have had several wonderful opportunities to learn more about my craft and children. In 2006 I moved to Maryland to work with The Benedictine School on the Eastern Shore. Upon moving to the Western Shore in 2010, I began working for Silver Oak Academy. Currently I am providing specialized instruction in Baltimore City to children in the BITP.
