With over 18 years of experience in the human resources field, I am a seasoned HR professional who is passionate about enhancing employee relations and wellness through effective benefits administration, policy development, and disability management. I have a SHRM-CP certifications in human resources, and a master's degree in dispute resolution. In one of my most recent roles as a benefits analyst at BakerRipley, a leading nonprofit organization that serves low-income communities in Texas, I supported the design, implementation, and communication of various benefits programs, such as health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and wellness. I also assisted employees with benefits enrollment, claims, and inquiries, and ensured compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Additionally, I leveraged my experience as a disability case manager at Accenture and Amazon, where I provided case management for all types of leave of absence and disability life events, to handle complex and sensitive cases with compassion and professionalism.
