About Kim Vickery

I joined the Westport Yachts in May 2018 where I manage their in-house Charter Department and Charter Fleet based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. During the early '90s, I discovered the yacht charter industry, and am most fortunate to have been mentored by esteemed industry icons in the large yacht sector. Initially, my introduction to the world of yachting was in the capacity as a U.S. based charter agent representing yacht owners in Greece while also learning about international charter brokering. From 1997 my apprenticeship in the field of luxury yacht charters continued for four years as executive assistant to the late Rikki Davis - she was ranked as one of the top 10 elite charter brokers of her time. I steadily worked my way up the ranks with a strong work ethic, dedication, and passion for my career and the industry. I was granted my first senior Charter Broker position in with a super yacht brokerage firm in Ft. Lauderdale. Today, I am a dedicated charter professional with 20+ years’ experience; I have a diversified knowledge base having worked with one of the top charter brokers from the mid 90's into early global full-service brokerages, and a highly rated mega yacht management and charter firm. I've fulfilled various roles as Senior Charter Broker, Charter Manager, & Marketing Manager and have been involved with two successful charter department launches during my career. My travels have taken me to Italy, France, Spain, Greece, the Caribbean, Bahamas, Belize, Ecuador, Galapagos and Cuba. I genuinely enjoy working with yacht owners, captains and crew; and helping clients and their families discover new destinations while taking great care in the details for creating a perfect yachting experience.
