About Kim Vo

I started working at Property Solutions and Services as an Assistant Site Manager immersing myself into all things Project-Based Section 8 and Tax Credits. I worked my way up to Associate Site Manager when I decided I wanted to educate people, particularly first-generation immigrants, on how to get out of the cycle of poverty and build wealth by owning property, so I obtained my real estate license. After realizing that the shoe didn't fit as I hoped, I went back into affordable housing but as a Compliance Manager for Section 202 and Section 811 properties with over 350 units. I then took the opportunity to work at MN Housing as a Compliance Officer in 2018. There I monitored over 160 properties to ensure they were in compliance with multiple funding programs such as Tax Credits, HOME, MARIF, ARIF, POHP, PARIF, and LTH. I conducted over 25 property inspections within 2 months. In 2020, I came back to Property Solutions and Services as a Human Resources Manager where I'm able to be as versatile as I can be in all areas of affordable housing. I'm graduated from St. Mary’s University with an MBA in December 2021. I obtained my SHRM Certificate May 2022. My mom and I bought our first home in 2017 and I'm in the processing of building my second home that will be ready for move in shortly. In my free time, I participate in two book clubs, one volleyball league, two Dungeons and Dragons adventures, and trying new restaurants.
