About Kim Walker

As the Learning Design and Evaluation Director at Stanford Medicine, Kim leads a talented and creative team of instructional designers and collaborates closely with EdTech's Creative Director and media producers. We collaborate with faculty and academic leaders to design and implement effective and engaging learning solutions for undergraduate, graduate, and continuing medical education as well as patient-facing education. Kim has over nine years of experience in EdTech, with expertise in instructional design, user design, online education, and medical education. Kim's mission is to leverage evidence-based practices and technologies to enhance teaching and learning outcomes across the education programs at Stanford Medicine. Kim has overseen and/or led the planning, development, and delivery of over 40 face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses. Kim also supervises and mentors a flexible and diverse course development and production team, aligning their skills and services with the strategic goals of Stanford Medicine. Kim is a learning technology leader and a lifelong learner passionate about improving education in health care.
