About Kim Weeber
Kim Weeber started practicing meditation in 1987 in the yoga tradition, and studied Zen for 8 years. She was introduced to Vipassana in 1997, and ran a weekly meditation class for prisoners for 2 years. Arinna Weisman invited her to train in the Community Dharma Leader program run by Spirit Rock Meditation Center, which she completed in 2008. She is completed teacher training with Culadasa John Yates, PhD, author of The Mind Illuminated, and studied Trauma Informed Mindfulness with David Treleaven. She recently completed Analayo's Satipatthana Meditation course through Barre Center for Buddhist Studies. She founded River Valley Insight Meditation Community, and continues her training with teachers in the Theravadin and Tibetan traditions.
