About Kim White

With over two decades of experience in mental health and education, I’ve dedicated my career to helping individuals and communities evolve and thrive. My work spans psychotherapy, crisis management, psycho-education and multidisciplinary care for children, teens, and adults. I've held clinical and supervisory roles at top institutions including UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center, UCLA Counseling and Psychological Services, and various outpatient programs throughout Los Angeles. With advanced training in public speaking and presentation, I have coordinated programs that bring crucial information regarding mental health to the parents, educators and other healthcare professional. In addition to my clinical background, I spent 8 years as psychology faculty at Santa Monica College and West Los Angeles College where I was given the opportunity to welcome students to the introductory world of psychology. I now own a private practice specializing in supporting women in their 20-40s facing significant life transitions in their personal or professional lives. These women work in high-stress industries such as healthcare, education, and tech, and I help them build resilience, enhance communication, increase confidence and find clarity in next steps. My coaching business, The Grounded Guide, offers short term stress management skills and clarity of direction for people in an acute phase of life transition, like relocation, evolving professions, or changes in relationship status.
