Develops and coordinates a variety of special events including working with dignitaries for ribbon cuttings, bond programs, press conferences, special events, golf tournaments, 5K walk/runs, annual giving telethon, health fairs, anniversary celebrations, board meetings, grant projects, staff training and successful passage of four voter-approved bond programs. Manages and executes crisis communication for over 50+ emergency incidents in the emergency operations center for the City of Corpus Christi including Hurricane Harvey. With over 92+ hours of emergency operations training including advanced public information officer training from FEMA. Assist with school threat assessment team and school safety protocols. Extensive portfolio including newsletters, news releases, brochures, annual reports, educational materials, speeches, messaging, and a variety of other marketing publications.
