About Kimberley Taylor

Kimberley has been working with individuals with special needs since she was 14 years old. She holds an honours degree in Psychology from the University of Guelph, where she also minored in Family and Child Studies. She completed her Masters of Applied Disability Studies (M.ADS) at Brock University in April 2013, with a specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Kim has over 9 years of direct intervention experience with children with ASD and other developmental disabilities (DD) with extensive training in Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI). She is currently working in the Adult Developmental Services sector, providing behaviour therapy services to adults with DD and/or Dual Diagnosis. She is skilled in assessing client needs, providing parental support/training and creating behaviour support plans for individuals with disabilities. Kimberley is both formally trained and experienced in teaching communication skills using the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). In May 2014, she also received her Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) certification.
