chief executive officer of aerosafe risk management, a global risk management company established in australia in 1996. from small beginnings, kimberley has grown the business to become a multinational organization providing international leadership, industry reform and organisational advancement to over 560 organizations in 17 countries. viewed as a “risk management futurist” for her innovation, forward thinking and original concepts in the field, kimberley is heavily involved in the advancement of the discipline of risk management on an international scale. kimberley provides regular coaching in corporate governance, business strategy and enterprise risk frameworks to industries, company and government boards, risk and audit committees and regulators. she was a driving force behind the establishment of the aviation safety network (asn) program that helped organizations to set standards and practices beyond compliance. utilising her strong entrepreneurial, strategic leadership and management skills, kimberley has expanded her business into the defense, aerospace, manufacturing, transport and oil & gas pipeline sectors where she has pioneered cutting edge methodology and practices, including capability, industry and sector risk profiling. she has made significant contributions to complex and high-profile acquisition and sustainment projects for the us department of defense, capability acquisition and sustainment group (australian department of defence), the international helicopter and manufacturing industry and the oil and gas pipeline industry in north america. during the global covid-19 pandemic, aerosafe's risk profiling methodology has been adapted to support the airline industry plan for their recovery. before setting off in her business career, kimberley graduated from royal military college as an officer in the australian army and undertook her service in army aviation corps and special operations command. she has been awarded the centenary medal by the australian prime minister in recognition of her business leadership. she is also a previous telstra young business woman of the year recipient. she has authored three books and is a regular speaker at conferences across america and around the globe.
