As a certified nursing assistant, I stay current with your continued education courses concerning the most up-to-date techniques for minimizing the spread of germs that transport diseases. Also I assure adequate nutrition for patients. While handling medical equipment which consist of bladder scanners, intermittent pneumatic compression devices, anti-embolism stockings, bedpans and so forth.This allows me to be on the frontline as a key member of the patient’s healthcare team. In this capacity, my observations play an important role in the healthcare plan. I keep a record of the patient’s health status to include vital signs, intake and output as well as other necessary observations. With the collected data, l communicate these recordings to other CNA shifts, Registered Nursing staff and Charge Nurses.
