About Kimberly Karcher

I have obtained a certification in Cabinetmaking/Finished Carpentry from a 3 year program at the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center. Following that, I went to Mount Aloysius College and obtained my Associate of Science degree in Medical Imaging/Radiography. I worked in a small chiropractic office where I took X-rays and assisted with physical therapy. Then I moved to Colorado and worked in a Cabinetmaking shop for a little over a year before making a big life change and moving back to Pennsylvania, when my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer. I gained experience in a Door manufacturing shop where I was a custom woodworker and also used my skills in different departments. I love working with wood and creating custom projects! Now I oversee student safety and assist in teaching them how to sharpen their skills and prepare them to start their careers in the industry!
