About Kimberly Lowe

In December 2024 I will have completed a degree in Human Biology (B.S.) at UC San Diego. Currently I am seeking any experience in health and am seeking part-time or full-time work starting January 2025. My goal is to become a Registered Nurse within the next few years through an accelerated Bachelor's of Nursing progam. I currently work as a Cashier at Fresh Brothers in Carmel Valley. I concurrently worked as a Chiropractic Assistant at Satnick Chiropractic until March 2024, which instilled in me a passion to work in a field with direct patient care. I enjoyed connecting with patients, particularly taking their medical history in regard to injuries. I have lost a lot of family members in an untimely way to cancer and would love the opportunity to give other families comfort and solutions during hard times. This past year I was also the Iconic Director for the Musician's Club at UC San Diego for the 2024 school year. In this role, I had creative direction and the responsibility of managing the club's largest show of the year, Iconic. I recently studied abroad in South Korea in July of 2024, and I thoroughly enjoyed sharing the experience with 14 other UC San Diego students. I realized that in a group setting I enjoy leading and control to some extent, but am also a thoughtful team player that is willing to commit to experiences and tasks others want to enjoy. I like working and collaborating on things with others in person, so I feel a remote opportunity would not be for me. Prior to my UC San Diego scholastic career, I went to Los Angeles Pierce College (LAPC) for 1.5 years. At LAPC I received two Associates Degrees in Social Sciences and STEM. I am willing to pursue further education for a career but would like to take time out of school to solidify a career path for myself. In my free time, I love to hang out with my kitties, explore San Diego, and perform. Thanks so much for reading, I look forward to connecting with you!
