With over 40 years of experience in the public relations and communications industry, I am a seasoned Public Information Manager at Broward County Commission, the second-largest county in Florida. My mission is to inform, engage, and empower the public on the nine-member Broward County Commission's policies, programs, and services, and to foster trust and transparency in the government. As a former Los Angeles market television news anchor and reporter, I have a unique background and expertise in media relations, crisis management, and content creation. I leverage these skills to develop and implement effective marketing communications strategies, write compelling speeches and press releases, manage social media platforms, and coordinate events and outreach initiatives. I also collaborate and partner with various stakeholders, including elected officials, county departments, media outlets, and community organizations, to advocate for the county's interests and goals.
