Isn't retirement wonderful! I started my leadership consulting business, InterWeave in and enjoyed helping companies to change their cultures so that employees flourished. I have my bachelor's degree in Organizational Management, my master's degree in Servant Leadership and my Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership. I am an avid learner and want to understand life from many different perspectives- so I also received training as a Stephen's Minister to be a compassionate listener to those walking through grief and trauma, then as a Kairos Facilitator to be the hands and feet of Christ to women in prison, and then as an End of Life Doula to help the dying to understand and be able to flourish during the end of their lives. But I started this description saying that retirement is wonderful- so what am I doing currently? My husband Steve and I have a private sailing charter business based in Punta Gorda, Florida. We took the year of Covid to renovate our 60 foot sailboat so we could offer private sailing charters with the mission of "enriching lives through exceptional experiences". We have taken our life experiences and created a fun and nourishing environment aboad our sailboat so that people can explore life on the water while creating amazing memories. We have a commercial fishing license, as well as being a licensed restaurant with a beer/wine license. Honeymoons, family vacations, friendcations, special occasions, and private getaways are our speciality.
