About Kimberly Moore

I am a social entrepreneur that leads with lived experience, an open heart, a willingness to find solutions and create new programmes based on what people need. Our needs are always changing in this changing world. Mine certainly have. I’m also a Self-compassion Teacher in Training and I embody self-compassion. It’s become a way of life. This new path came out of my lived experience, recovering from the effects of codependency and my late husband’s alcoholism. This means that I am learning to be kinder to myself, to stand strong for myself, to regulate my emotions, to feel all the feels including the grief and suffering, with skill and compassion. I’m learning to develop my compassionate inner coach, and to teach all of this to others. Before this change I was a senior-level strategic marketer with over 25 years of marketing experience. I still am, and now I use these skills to build a non profit and make a positive impact. My super power has always been interviewing people and peeling back the layers, getting to the truth of what they think, what they feel and what drives their decision making. Now I see it as connecting with people, and I help them resource themselves to go inward. If you are wanting to bring more self-care and self-compassion into your life and your organisation, I'd like to support you. It's not easy, and it won't be quick. This is why I focus on building trusted long-term relationships. I am lucky to have been involved in periods of great change, both growth and decline in various organisations, which demanded great change management capabilities. I’ve also experienced great change and hardship in my own life. This has led to my knowledge of understanding factors that drive change - how to connect with people to support them through the change.
