About Kimberly Nicholson

I am a University Program Specialist in Office of University Counsel at ECU, veteran noncommissioned officer of the United States Army, and an ECU alumna.Accustomed to a high volume work environment with direct interaction with units across campus, I enjoy broad faceted work involving versatility, multitasking, training, attention to detail, and complex problem solving. I have experience working with faculty, administrators, coordinators, and the general public. I have built and managed the ECU HighQ instance for the past three years. In addition to setting up Legal Matter Management and Litigation sites in HighQ to support our legal team, I have created and implemented a campus-wide Policy Development site; a Public Records Request site (FOIA); a Court Orders, Subpoenas, and Law Enforcement Order site; a Contract site; and various Communication sites. As the assessment coordinator, I also developed metrics in HighQ to assist with development of analytics, and dashboards, to show annual progress related to assessment outcomes as part of our accreditation requirements. It has been fun and exciting finding ways to use HighQ in conjunction with other Systems to broaden accessibility of data, simplify intake processes, and more effectively communicate with colleagues, clients, and the public.
