With over 17 years of experience in healthcare management, I am a dedicated and driven leader and educator in the field of graduate medical education (GME) and physician careers. I have a Master of Arts in Management, a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration, and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts, as well as honors that demonstrate my commitment to excellence, innovation, and service. As the Educational Program Manager for Graduate Medical Education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, I assist the Associate Dean to accomplish mutual goals for excellence in GME for 54 residencies and fellowships in multiple healthcare systems. I have competencies in accreditation, special review process, administration, professional development, and contract management. I also have expertise in scope of practice analysis, policy writing, practice resources, commission leadership, consulting services, workforce training, executive committee leadership, strategic planning, operational initiatives, business operations, consultative sales, client relations, market and product analysis, budget and revenue management. Some of my notable achievements include improving efficiency in privileging policies by 90%, doubling open engagements in one fiscal year during the pandemic, and attaining and increasing fiscal year revenue targets. My mission is to enhance the quality and impact of higher education, and to contribute to the advancement and improvement of healthcare delivery and outcomes. I leverage my strengths, education, and experience to support and empower others, and to create innovation and effect change management.
