About Kimberly Stratton

I have a passion for delivering a high quality product, challenging myself, taking ownership for my projects, and being involved in STEM outreach. I have spent over 10 years at Caterpillar, working with a global, cross-functional team as we develop the next generation of product. I have experience on a wide variety of our Caterpillar products, including autonomous machines, remote-control machines and GPS guided systems. I have focused mainly in the on-machine validation space, one could think of this as full systems validation. I also have experience writing software for advanced operator assist features, and tuning software for the advanced operator features. I also have experience coordinating large projects involving a core team of 30+ people from multiple companies, based in multiple states, and over 150 volunteers. These projects received numerous accolades from both Caterpillar’s leadership team and NASA’s leadership team. Finally, I have experience in HR, identifying gaps in talent recruitment, onboarding, and retention.
