About Kimelle Ash

Kimelle started her career with a Red-to-Blue victory with Andy Kim’s team in 2018. She then worked as a scheduler and outreach coordinator for NJ Senator Troy Singleton. In 2019, Kimelle joined Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign as a Regional Organizing Director, before joining AL Media Strategy as a Competitive Media Analyst. Her work was also instrumental in the 2021 victory for the Georgia Senate Run-off election for US Sen. Jon Ossoff’s team, resulting in the Senate’s control shift to Democrat. Before joining Subject Matter + Kivvit, Kimelle served as finance director for Former Illinois House Rep. Litesa Wallace in her campaign for Congress. After joining Subject Matter + Kivvit, she continued to volunteer on the campaign as a Consultant. She was also contracted as a strategic advisor for the Digital Organizing Director on Stacey Abrams’ 2022 campaign for Governor. Kimelle specializes in portfolio management, issue advocacy, messaging, earned media, and strategic counsel. She has worked with clients across areas and sectors, including government, social justice, and health care.
