About Kindall Smith

As a dedicated educator, curriculum developer, and future school leader, I bring over 12 years of experience designing high-impact learning experiences that center equity, cultural relevance, and academic rigor. I have served in various roles—from classroom teacher and youth ministry leader to curriculum writer for nationally recognized educators—always driven by the belief that every child deserves access to a transformative education. With deep roots in the North Lawndale community and a passion for giving back, I specialize in designing Common Core-aligned content, supporting early childhood through middle grades, and leading data-driven instructional planning. My work has spanned charter networks like KIPP and Catalyst and faith-based and community-centered programs. Whether I am building a K–8 skills workbook, leading children's church, or preparing to lead in administration, I remain committed to shaping spaces where all students, especially those who look like me, can thrive. I am currently pursuing leadership opportunities where I can continue to grow as a change agent in education while building pathways for others to rise.
